SHOCKER!! How AK 47 Died
The much awaited police and medical report about what exactly happened to Emmanuel Mayanja popularly known as AK47 was released yesterday the same day he was laid to rest at his ancestral home in Mityana. According to the police report obtained reveals that at around 11pm on March 16 2015 the Divisional Police Commander of Kabalagala police station Francis Chemsto received information of the sudden death of Emmanuel Mayanja which had occurred at 10 pm at Nsyambya hospital.
The report intimates that before Mayanja’s death, he was at a local pub called Dejavu located along Kampala Ggaba road in Kansanga and was seen seated on a round table with friends including Diamond Oscar, Pallaso his elder brother, Jeff Kiwa, DJ Bobby and Allan Kiwa.
They were on a drinking and smoking spree.
The report further indicates that at around 9:00pm Emmanuel Mayanja left his seat for a short call.
He had ordered for food before he went answer calls of nature.
He was later found lying helplessly on his back by the toilet cleaner one Milton Mumbere.
It is also reported that Mumbere informed Thomas Mwima, the bouncer and Stephen Kisenyi the bar manager.
The report goes further to say that the deceased was rushed to Rock Pharmacy and clinic and later to Nsambya hospital where he was pronounced dead.
A team of police detectives from Kabalagala police station led by CIID boss Nusura Kemigisha later cordoned off Dejavu bar and RMS Gym fitness, Sauna and steam bath where the deceased had been for fitness exercises.
The report says that the police in their search recovered some pieces of narcotic drugs and opium from where Mayanja and his colleagues were seated before his death.
The manager of the bar was also arrested to assist in providing more information in the investigations.
The report further shows that members of Team No Sleep that the deceased belonged to were all present on the fateful day and were all seen having good moments while smoking weed, sharing music and there was no quarrel or fracas at all.
The report also asserts that the body of AK47 was found with bruises in the neck and no strangling signs.
According to the post-mortem report by Mulago hospital carried out at City Mortuary by Dr. Moses Byarugaba ,it was established that the his body was well nourished, had hemorrhagic froth on the nose, swollen back of the head and with a fractured skull extending from the right posterior cranial.
It was also examined that there was increased intracranial pressure which is the pressure inside the skull therefore in the brain tissue and cerebrospinal fluid.
There was an observation of congested cerebral vessels and bleeding at the base of the brain.
The forensic report also established that the cause of Emmanuel Mayanja’s death was as a result of Blunt Head Trauma.
However, body samples including parts of the liver and Kidney have been removed and taken to the Government Analytical Laboratory for further toxicological tests to establish the drug and alcohol levels in his body.
