Deafening screeches and tears soaked Kyazanga, Lwengo District on Monday as the police chopper carrying the body of slain police spokesperson Andrew Felix Kaweesi touched ground on Monday.


Police flew Kaweesi’s body to his ancestral home in Lwengo for burial which is scheduled on Tuesday.

In the requiem mass held at Lubaga Cathedral on Monday, March 20, hundreds hounoured Kaweesi who was killed last Friday along with his body guard, Kenneth Erau and driver Godfrey Wambeyo.


Kaweesi will be buried on Tuesday, March 21 at his ancestral home in Kyazanga, Lwengo District after another mass which will start at about 12:00pm.
