Kizza Besigye to address the Uganda Convention in London
Four time FDC presidential candidate and key opposition icon Rtd Col Dr. Kizza Besigye is expected at the London Convention to address the annual gathering of the Ugandan community in United Kingdom on 10 Sept 2016 at Troxy – London.
Our highly placed sources have confirmed that Dr. Kiiza Besigye is expected to fly back to London on the 10th sept to address Ugandans, investors and friends of Uganda attending the annual Ugandan Convention in the UK.
The Uganda Convention UK is the only event in the Diaspora that ensures representation from members of the various political parties and ethnic groups.
Mr. Mutenza, the chairman of the Uganda convention in London confirmed that Dr. Kiiza Besigye is among the keynote speakers at this year’s convention.
Mutenza insisted that the convention is a platform for all Ugandans regardless of their political or tribal affiliations.
It’s on such a platform that they gather together to discuss, debate and deliberate on issues that promotes development of mother country Uganda.
Mutenza stressed that political leaders especially from the opposition can’t be excluded in the effort of promoting Uganda and it is our duty to give them a platform.
The Convention will also host the Omukama of Bunyoro Kitara, His Highness, Dr. Solomon Iguru Gafabusa II, The King of Bunyoro, His Highness, David Onen Acana II, Acholi Paramount Chief, Prince Crispin Kiweewa Juunju; who will be mobilising investors, fellow Ugandans to look at their regions for investment opportunities and not to mention inspire our youth at the youth forum.
The Convention will feature other fantastic line up of distinguished Speakers and Panellists from diverse businesses, organizations and political spectrum.
