A new wave of killers have invaded Kampala city, targeting special hire drivers, private guards, lawyers and other prominent professionals. Red pepper online exclusively reports.

According to security sources, this new group does not use guns when killing.

They only use a gun to scare their target when he refuses to follow their instructions.

This was allegedly the exact style culprits who poisoned the city lawyer George Mugyenyi of Agaba magulu & Co. Advocates used.

George was allegedly called from his home in Kansanga, a Kampala city suburb in Makindye Division by a person known to him, claiming he had some business he them wanted to discuss around Munyonyo.

When he arrived in his Toyota Prado registration number UAK 460U, the culprit convinced him to meet inside his car.

In the process, he allegedly drew a pistol and put him on gun point as he ordered him to swallow some poisonous substances.

After realizing that he had become unconscious, the culprit allegedly took off with his mobile telephone which had his MTN line.

Fortunately, the deceased allegedly used his second phone which had Airtel line and informed his wife about what had happened on him.

Besides Mugyenyi, a private security guard Wilson Mudoko of Asker Security Limited who was guarding at Helmet Uganda Limited offices was also brutally murdered by unknown gang of people in Kamwokya-Nakawa Division on Monday night.

The deceased did not have a gun by the time he was attacked.

According to Police sources only items like; laptops and three computers among other valuables were stolen by the attackers to dupe the investigators into the matter.

Kamwokya incident happened two days after another special hire driver was murdered inside his car around Kyanja, a Kampala city suburb in Nakawa Division.

Surprisingly, after breathing his last, the assailants abandoned him inside his car and they allegedly didn’t touch on his valuables including the phone.

It is alleged that, having realized that most of the security had been shifted to Busoga region in a bid cracking down possible culprits suspected to be behind the rampant killing of top Muslim Clerics, the new wave of criminal killers have now embarked on raiding different parts of the city and its outskirts with intentions of causing frustrating situations amongst the peaceful Ugandans.
