Four men who were found guilty of trying to murder Rwanda’s former army chief, Gen Faustin Kayumba Nyamwasa , will be sentenced tommorrow
The terms of bargain from the Rwandan government were to relocate Gen Kayuma Nyamwasa to a third County and to extradite Capt Emile Rutagengwa to Rwanda to stand trial according to Kigali. These were the pre-conditions so that the normal relationship could be restored. However, the South African government did not heed to any of the Rwandan demands. Capt Emile Rutagengwa is also a Citizen of South Africa, therefore being a country that respects its own laws, by extraditing Capt Emile to Rwanda; South Africa would be violating its own laws. The Rwandan government accuses him of recording the voices of Gen. Jack Nziza and Dan Munyuza in which they the dual bargained with assassins the cost of the killing Gen. Kayumba Nyamwasa.
