The Publication by the Jeune Afrique, that the daughter of President Kagame has been integrated in the office of the President as the new communication Chief has been denied by the Rwandan authorities and Ange Kagame as baseless and just usual speculation.

Indeed, Ange Kagame has categorically stated that she has not joined the office of the president as the new communication Chief.  « I appreciate the effort, but this is not true” Ange Kagame twited .

We appreciate that the Rwandan Head of State has integrated his daughter as the new head of the communication team in his office. Ange Kagame has a right as any Rwandan with qualifications to get a job in her country and in any institution without any exception.

I would like to take this opportunity on behalf of the Inyenyeri News and my own behalf to congratulate Ange Kagame for being nominated to head the most exciting institution but also very challenging one.

I would also remind her that the RPF government has been very hash on the media and most of the independent news papers and the online out lets have been attacked by the government she is about  to serve officially and the institution she is now nominated to head.

In fact my own news online Inyenyeri has been attacked 22 times since last year, it’s on this note that I would caution Ange Kagame to desist from attacking the media because unlike her predecessors she has been educated in one of the free world and the most champion of the freedom of press and association.

Again, I would like to remind her that I was one of the people who were responsible for the Security of the Rwandan First Family; indeed, you have metamorphosised on our watch. I would therefore urge you to caution and advise your father that a free media is not an enemy of the State but a partner in the development and stability of the country.

Finally I would like to wish you a happy Easter and look forward to working with you for harmoniously for the good of our country and a future that all Rwandans mirror in themselves.
