On Friday, Forum for Democratic Change presidential candidate, Rtd Col Dr Kizza Besigye kifefe traversed the entre Buvuma Island amidst difficulties due to poor road network.

In the course of his journey, he addressed a couple of rallies at Kiyindi fish landing site, in Buikwe District, Najja Sub County,  Kasaali, Kitamiiro, Buvuma town Council, among others.

Besigye was accompanied by a delegation of officials from his party that comprised of; Wasswa Biriggwa, President-FDC-Maj Gen Mugisha Muntu, Lubaga Mayor-Joyce Nabbosa Ssebugwawo, Ingrid Turinawe, among others.

Excited upon seeing him, his supporters welcomed him and some offered him Fish, money among others, as a sign of love.

In his speech, Besigye expressed concern over the increasing cases of poverty, child dropouts, poor road network, under development, nonexistence of functional health centers, among others.

Before, Besigye and team found it hard due to Poor roads to reach at the venues where he had planned to hold his rallies.

He also vowed to address all the problems faced by the people of Buvuma if voted into power come 2016.

He also promised to establish a fish processing factory so as to enable value addition to the fish as well as creating more employment opportunities
