Desire Luzinda Headed To Luzira For Ten Years
V-pose heroine Desire Luzinda is set to join deceitful porn producer Didi in Luzira prison but for a much longer sentence after she abetted to participation in the production of pornographic content by virtue of acknowledgement in a facebook status update with State minister for Ethics and Integrity Simon Lokodo today directing police to arrest her.
“Police is on track to get hold of Luzinda and her boyfriend. I have directed the Police to get her,” the minister said on Tuesday.
Luzinda even found the humor behind the ‘Desire Challenge’ and posted a picture on instagram of people doing it and captioned it:‘Spread the love and do the challenge. This is crazy.’
“I have been betrayed by someone I genuinely loved. I never loved him for the money, he is lying and he knows that! Helping someone is not a guarantee they will return the favor when in time of need. Be the friend in need knowing payment comes from God” Desire said.
Fr Lokodo the champion of the Anti-pornography Act must be smiling from ear to ear with our sources in the high echelons of the Ethics Ministry intimating that a more popular convict in Ms Luzinda is the real deal in setting precedent for the others. Section 13 of the Act makes it illegal for a person to produce, traffic, publish any form of pornography and on conviction is liable to a fine of Shs10m or imprisonment not exceeding 10 years.
Desire’s have since Friday been circulating on social media, which has ignited debate questioning the legality or illegality of such action of publishing material.
However her Nigerian bonkmate who allegedly leaked the nudes is not off the hook as well because people who publish nude photos, according to Uganda Police Kampala Metropolitan spokesperson Patrick Onyango, can be charged with trafficking in pornography under the Computer Misuse Act.
Section 8 of the Computer Misuse Act says: “Any person who wilfully and repeatedly uses electronic communication to disturb or attempts to disturb the peace, quiet or right of privacy of any person with no purpose of legitimate communication whether or not a conversation ensues commits a misdemeanor and is liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding 24 currency points or imprisonment not exceeding one year or both”.
Fr Lokodo is however yet to tell the public whether everyone who took a Luziefie andDesifie, everyone who shared and supplied , all those media houses that have profited off this are arrested and sentenced.
Just like Didi
Just a few days ago, Producer Didi who was branded as the poster child for pornography by Fr Lokodo was arrested and all his property was confiscated because of his illegal production of pornographic content. He was granted bail worth 800,000/= that he failed to raise before trial The producer is responsible for many good songs but unfortunately when things got tight, the type of music he produced became of a very pornographic nature. Songs like ‘Anososomola’ and ‘Entte yange’ whose videos shocked all Ugandans alike.
Over the weekend, he was sentenced to 4 years in jail and lost his license to produce music
