The assassinations pattern continues in Uganda
Shootings and assassinations seem to have become the new normal in Uganda !
Today, A prominent senior police officer, Muhammad Kirumira has been shot dead along with a lady who was initially mistaken as his spouse , as they returned home on the outskirts of the capital Kampala .
This worrying gun violence seems to have been triggered by the murder of then deputy head of
Uganda’s police Andrew Felix Kawesi in March 2017 was followed by the murder or ret. Col Ibrahim Abiriga this past June.
None of these high profile murders have been elucidated but those privy to the geopolitics of the great lakes region can easily zero in on the invisible hand behind the destabilization of Uganda.
The moment is crucial .
Who stands to gain in shaking the boat and threatening the foreign interests in Lake Albert ?
There is an invisible hand that fueled and predicted the brutality and appalling abuse of MP Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu ( Bobi Wine).
There is an invisible hand behind the finger that is now pointed at the Ugandan Army by the high profile lawyer, Mr Robert Amsterdam.
There is an invisible hand at play that seeks to create total chaos in Uganda and while democracy is a fundamental right , Ugandans need to be vigilant and not let a neighboring country with a poisonous agenda invite itself to their popular revolution.
