Dictatorship propaganda machines hold societies captive with personality cults created around the person of the dictator to keep the people subdued, living in an cloud of love/fear confusion.

In Rwanda, these feelings tare people between a constant fear of imminent threat and reliance on the dictator’s benevolence for their every day survival. Every day and everywhere you go in Rwanda, the dictator’s propaganda machine alternatively paints him as your worst nightmare and your only savior.

Consequences? Sycophancy, PTSD and Stockholm syndrome. A seriously straight jacketed situation.
