According to the youth RPF representative in the Rwandan parliament Hon. Bamporiki Edward, Kagame is too big to fit in the Senate after his term expires in 2017.” Mbona Perezida Kagame atakwirwa muri Sena – Depite Bamporiki” he told the pro-RPF online blog igihe.com.

Article 82 stipulates that former Heads of State who honorably complete their terms or voluntarily resign from office can apply for joining the Senator for life.

Hon. Bamporiki further argues that he has 100 reasons why he would like President Kagame to extend his rule after 2017.

He mentions development as one the top reasons why he would renewal the contract of president Kagame.

While Hon Bamporiki would be exposing his ignorance in both economics and politics, he is also known for his opportunistic DNA that would not keep his mouth shut when it comes to the defense of his juicy honey job.

Let me analyze his argument of development as one of the reasons  of keeping Kagame around, could Hon. Bamporiki tell Rwandans how many tarmac roads have been constructed by Kagame apart from   renovating,  painting some buildings  or selling some public companies that were built by President Habyarimana.

Can Hon. Bamporiki tell the Rwandans who build the magnificent parliament where he is making all this noise?  The World Five Star Stadium that makes Rwanda one of the few countries in Africa with the international FIFA foot ball stadiums was constructed by President Habyarimana

Who built the Gregoire Kayibanda International Airport? Can Hon Bamporiki tell Rwandans the progress of the Bugesera Airport Project?

I will use simple economic index for even a lay person or ignorant person like Bamporiki to understand, a Bottle of Primus Beer  was 80 or 100  Rwandan Francs , a bottle of Coca Cola was 21 even as recent as 1988  until Kagame and RPF invaded Rwanda in 1990.

How much does Hon Bamporiki pay for the same products? May be for him he gets them free or on subsidized prices from his Parliament shop, but why can’t he sympathize with the rural people in his village in Cyangugu who have been denied even their local brew so that Kagame companies can flourish.

During  Habyarimana regime Education was free  from primary and at the University level and a guarantee for a job after a graduation, irrespective of the irregularities like some in equality opportunities, Kagame’s policies have  gone another mile in destroying education system in our country, attending University is no guarantee for a job and the bursaries have been abolished and education is now a luxury but not a necessity under the RPF and Kagame regime.

Apparently, Kagame has butchered more people in Rwanda and Congo than all the previous regimes combined. The only difference is the name of the crimes, Kagame pretends he committed massacres while others committed genocide. However, under international law and the hierarchy of international crimes, genocide is only a moral superiority but not a legal one.

According to Professor William, schabas Genocide is outgrowth from crimes against humanity that emerged earlier from the law and customs and humanitarian law governing armed conflict.

Has Hon Bamporiki got time to read the UN Mapping report on the massacres of innocent civilians in Congo which could constitute genocide? What about the massacres of Kibeho where Kagame as Minister of Defense at the time at the time went there with President Pasteur Bizimungu and they officially accepted 300 hundred people despite the official UN report of more than 3000?

Is this Hon youth really well acquainted with the RPF history? He mentions Kagame as a person who loves Rwanda and Rwandans, according to Bamporiki, Kagame would have stayed in America and seek asylum. Does he really account for the many Rwandans who remained on the front line after the sudden death of Gen Fred Rwigyema? The likes of   Major Dr. Bayingana , Mojor Chris Bunyenyezi, Capt Vedaste Kayitare, Kayumba Nyamwasa,  Sama Kaka, Adam Waswa, Col. Ndugute Kalisoliso, William Bagire,  just to mention a few, does this Hon member of the parliament ever suggested a Bill in the parliament to cater for the welfare of the orphans and widows of the fallen true Rwandan heroes ?

While he is enjoying the fruits and blood of these guys, does he know that even those remaining are now rotting in the Kagame detentions and their assets are now under auction on fabricated charges or many more are in exile  and hunted like a wild Buffalo? The likes of Gen. Rusagara Frank, Col. Tom Byabagamba,  their families are not only denied their basic human rights but they are under constant  BIG brother Cameras.

Let me remind Hon. Bamporiki that, a greedy fly goes in the same grave with a dead person, sooner than later, Bamporiki will find himself in the same doc with the man (Kagame) who has made many Rwandan families orphans and widows, the family of Rwigara   Assinapol who is not only a Genocide survivor but also one of the people who funded the RPF. The families of Col. Patrick Karegeya who was one of the architecture of the RPF policies, who woke up on the New Eve of 2014 to hear news of the strangulation of their loved one. The likes of Bamporiki, and those who think like him, history will judge you harshly.
