many of your readers were skeptical of my articles indicating what I think is rather obvious. That Jeannette Kagame Kanjogera-Turashize is steadily replacing the Butcher of Rwanda as our dictator.

So what do the doubting thomases say now? When you see the above photograph of Kanjogera going solo in charming state guests without the butcher – what comes to mind?

Look at the screaming headlines in the Kagames’ newspaper New Times – “First Lady Hosts Oklahoma varsity” http://www.newtimes.co.rw/news/index.php?i=14935&a=11615

Headlined “First Lady hosts Oklahoma varsity”, New Times categorically leaves no doubt who is in charge and speaks for the country. In their own words, Jeannette Kagame “assured Oklahoma Christian University (OCU) a strong partnership as relations between the institution and Rwanda grows over the years.”

The paper continues: “She made the pledge Friday evening during a reception held at Kigali Serena Hotel to celebrate the partnership between OCU and the government of Rwanda.”

Jeannette Kagame Kanjogera-Turashize thanked Oklahoma Christian university for the strong support it renders to the development of Rwanda “towards achievement our vision of technology led knowledge based economy.”

Hallelujah!

The newspaper concludes that the
function “was attended by several senior government officials, students, parents and guardians of students.” In other words, Kanjogera is leading government officials.

But that is not all – while she is commanding government ministers in such events, using state resources, amazingly she mixes it all up with her own NGO affairs. This occasion was no different.

In her own words:

“I am glad to see that most of the girls at Oklahoma have been interns in our Imbuto foundation.”

Need I say more with regards to how the Kagames have turned our country into a mish-mash of personal-private-public effects?

Dear Rwandan compatriots, I have a few questions for you to ponder:

Do you need further evidence that our dictator has absconded and passed on the reigns of power to Jeannette Kagame Kanjogera-Turashize?
If our dictator is not available for state functions such as these, why is not ministers and other public figures that handle them?
Why is this woman that is unelected being fronted overseas and now nationally – how does she speak for the Rwandan state?
Honestly, there is no limit to Butcher Kagame’s contempt for Rwanda, a country that he now rules as a personal property. Like a a piece of land, Kagame the man has passed Rwanda to Kagame the woman.

But wait my dear Kagames – I have a free lesson for you. You are not as clever as you think. Your two brands of aggression against Rwandan people are too well known to deceive anyone anymore.

Brand 1 is what Kagame the butcher is famous for – overt aggression, where he is open, direct, and obvious in fighting anything that moves with brute force including killing people.

Brand 2 is his more subtle, under-handed, and manipulative manoeuvres, often imagining that he is deceptive enough to hide his true intentions. This is the butcher’s weapon of covertly aggressive. By avoiding overt display of aggression, while simultaneously intimidating others into giving him what he wants, the butcher believes we Rwandans are so dumb to fall for his crude manipulation.

Brand 2 is at work in positioning Kanjogera-Turashize as ruler. But it is so pathetic – it won’t work, even she had any brain.

Kagames, please try another manipulative manoeuvre. Why not begin with a lesson from uncle Kaguta-Museveni by making Kanjogera a cabinet minister first?
