Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni is in Dar es Salaam to attend the 50th Anniversaryof the Union of Tanganyika and Zanzibar

According to Sarah Kagingo, the Special Presidential Assistant on Comunications, President Yoweri Museveni arrived Dar es salaam yesterday evening to attend the 50th Anniversary of the Union of Tanganyika and Zanzibar slated for today April 26th at Uhuru Stadium.

The president was received at Julius Nyerere International Airport by Tanzania’s transport minister ,Dr.Harrison Mwekyembe, Hon Vincent Sempijja MP Kalungu ,Hon Sarah Nakawunde MP Mpigi, Amb. Norah Katabarwa, Col Kasaija defence Adviser Uganda High Commission among others .

Other Heads of State expected to attend the celebrations include Kenya’s Uhuru Kenyatta ,that of Burundi,Mauritius , Malawi among others.
