The United Republic of Tanzania has sworn in its first female president as the country continues to mourn for DR. Pombe Magufuli who is credited for a great number of economic reforms that helped propel Tanzania to the level of middle-income countries in spite of still being labeled a “populist president” by his western counterparts.
