The latest despicable acts committed in South Africa last week saw Frank Ntwali, RNC coordinator for Southern Africa; wrestle 2 unidentified goons who stabbed him 8 times before disappearing…… What is with South Africa and why does this stint smell like “Kigali”? 

Well, to begin with, these acts will continue to happen on South African soil because it is easily justifiable in the mind of a killer. South Africa has a very high crime rate and a melting pot of desperate African Refugees from all corners of Africa, some are there legally as others are there illegally, so it is the best place to commit a crime and easily get away with it. Secondly, South Africa is home to Paul Kagame’s pet obsession, former Army chief Lt.Gen Kayumba Nyamwasa and former Intelligence Chief Col.Patrick Karegeya, whom for as long as they breathe continue to pose a serious threat to him( your guess is as good as mine…). Lt.General Kayumba Nyamwasa already suffered an assassination attempt in 2010 that has resulted in a court case still pending and now, his brother in law, Frank Ntwali was recently stabbed but managed to survive the attempt on his life.

Once again, the shoddiness and ill-planned assassination attempt will not augur well for Rwanda’s Intelligence chiefs, Lt.General Karenzi Karake and Brigadier General Jack Nziza. Pressure is mounting for Karenzi to produce results after his predecessor Lt.Colonel Emmanuel Ndahiro messed up all the “hits” he had been assigned. The opposition abroad has multiplied and made headway politically, resulting in the freezing of donor funds from the international community.

Poor Karenzi Karake, after the President repeatedly humiliated him in front of all and sundry, Karenzi is eager to show his loyalty by striking Kagame’s prize obsession, namely his nemesis Kayumba Nyamwasa or anything remotely related to him. What they fail to understand is, even in the absence of these entities, the struggle to uproot Paul Kagame’s dictatorship will continue. The resolve to intensify the opposition is strong and it has taken root even within Rwanda!

Could this be yet another failure of duty on the part of the infamous Brigadier General Jack Nziza? Best known to the world as a sloppy serial killer after undeniably caught on tape issuing suicide missions and negotiating killer fees…..

It seems President Kagame has decided to keep his favourite goon on board despite the amateurish results he has produced since time immemorial…..

Truth be told. We shall have enough evidence to show who of the two was responsible for this “hit” or if indeed both are to be answerable.

Whatever the case, my mind is already made up!
