The Rwandan High Commission in the UK wants you to be complicit in consolidating Paul Kagame ‘s stolen 3rd term.
In an effort to legitimize Paul Kagame’s latest stolen Presidential mandate , the Rwanda High Commission to the United Kingdom is organizing the continuation of the mock elections charade on September 2nd 2018 this time for Members of Parliament.
All savvy observers are very much aware that there is no such thing as an elected member of parliament in Rwanda simply because they are meticulously selected and vetted by the ruling RPF. They are appointed and given specific tasks and are remunerated handsomely in exchange for absolute obedience to the RPF; in a country where poverty is rampant (contrary to the doctored statistics of the ruling party’ s PR machine ), these would be MPs are offered what they cannot refuse and the majority of them being women , the world is equally duped and mystified ,making neither head nor tail of the sham.
Mr Kagame and his delusional sycophants seem to be evolving in a bubble of their own , away from the Rwandan reality. Their take on ethnic politics has taken a truly bizarre turn!
While the Rwandan High commission invites Rwandans to come and cast their votes , this invitation is not valid for opposition members who will be violently refused access to the voting stations like we have seen it happen in France and elsewhere when members of the Rwandan diaspora were denied access to the “voting” exercise.
Also , the results of the blackmail of this passive aggressive exercise on the diaspora , with RPF winning in the 99% ranges, will come as no surprise to anyone yet again.
Which makes me wonder …Who in their right mind will put themselves through such ignominy when champions of democracy and true reconciliation like Deo Mushayidi and Victoire Ingabire have been sentenced to perverse prison terms on fabricated charges?
