Kagame : ” les faits sont têtus”
Kagame and his stooges are very good at theatrics but this Louise Mushikiwabo candidature at heading the “Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie” is an obvious sign that affande can no longer afford to disdain the French.
We know he despises them , their culture and their language.
He sent their ambassador packing like a little boy , he bulldozered their cherished “centre culturel” in Kigali , and the last vestige french culture , the Ecole Française St Exupery was renamed Ecole Francophone upon re opening. It had also been closed too after the ambassador was given the “oust!” out in 2006.
Fast forward 2018, Kagame the once darling warlord of the elite -or what some in the African Great Lakes area now call a “good house negro” ,wants the world to believe that he can be trusted with a seat at the table of the cultured and civilized .
After all, he has accumulated enough fake medals and accolades .And he is now the chairman of the African Union , although of course it is a position that Idi Amin also once held !
What we are not being told by his propagandists however is that the geopolitical tide has changed in the Great Lakes area.
Kagame has managed to make nothing but enemies in the region , isolating Rwanda and himself into his paranoia particularly since falling out with Uganda and Museveni.
His other western friends are changing on him and no longer condoning his proxy wars in DRC.
The French are heavily invested in the region , they have secured a military cooperation with Uganda since 2003 and partnership in Rwenzori since 2016.The French have also acquired $900 million worth of shares in the Uganda Lake Albert Oil project .In Baron Jomini’s tradition ,the French have strategized and maneuvered in the region for years . What remains to be seen is what they really have in store for his good soldier Mushikiwabo, because should she win or lose this bid , thanks to Kagame , she is looking at either constant ridiculing or public humiliation.
Rwanda ‘s ministry of foreign affairs headed by Olivier Nduhungirehe would certainly be …entertaining at the very least!
