The Untold Stories: Sam Kutesa and Salim Saleh in Rwanda on mission impossible
The Ugandan Foreign Minister (Sam Kutesa) and the Security advisor to the Ugandan President Salim Saleh who is also a brother to the Ugandan Head of State were in Rwanda to attend a memorial service in honoring  the father of Sam Kutesa who died in Gahini Rwanda in 1952 while on the missionary work.
While this mission is a moral obligation for Kutesa to honor his father, the timing is questionable and leaves many questions unanswered.
Why Sam Kutesa and the Security Advisor to the Uganda Head of State (Salim Saleh) who is also a mentor and a former colleague of President Kagame and also the man who made him what he is now, where here at the time when the Rwandan Head of State has flown to Uganda three times in one month?
When you set fire on a neighbor’s house while you have a grass thatched house, you are vulnerable too. The flames could easily spill over to yours. This is what is happening  to Rwanda as the DRC burns, Kagame thought that it will just be a walk over , he goes to Congo , kills as many people as he could then come out boasting  and spiting fire to the UN and everybody who questions  his wisdom.
It’s believed that when you are fifty (50) years and you think like when you were 20, then the thirty (30) years were all wasted. Indeed, if President Kagame thinks that, 1996 is the same as 2012, then he is sleepwalking. It is on this note that many people believe that, Sam Kutesa and his delegation where in Rwanda not only to attend the memorial services of his father Kosiya Kyamuhangire but also to discuss Congo issues which are giving Kagame sleepless nights.
Rwanda anger at DR Congo mutiny charges.
With pressure on all sides, Kagame has no choice except to go to his old friend and mentor for advice. The Rwandan Head of State sent his foreign affairs Minister to the UN Security Council to lie and behave as if he is the one with Congo solution. The Rwandan Foreign Minister argued that Rwanda as the peace maker in Congo cannot at the same time go and destroy it. “Of course Rwanda’s top army leadership in no way, and I’m very categorical about this, in no way would be involved in destroying the peace they have been working very hard to build,” Ms Mushikiwabo told journalists in New York.
Interestingly when the journalists asked her on the dates mentioned in the Human Rights Watch report when Gen Bosco was in Rwanda with some Rwandan Top Military officers, she answered that, Rwanda was urging rebels to negotiate rather than defect. This is a big lie and contradiction, on contrary many rebels are defecting and killing innocent civilians on the orders of Kagame himself. President Kagame is known very well for doing a very work and his ears are everywhere, therefore , there is no way, Gen Ntaganda and his rebels are defecting without the knowledge of the president of Rwanda.
Obviously, the internal UN report contains credible evidence of defecting soldiers who said they had been trained in Rwanda under the pretext of joining the army, before being sent over the border to fight. While the Rwanda foreign affairs Minister defend her government and these rebels by saying that, these are not Banyarwanda trained by the Rwanda government but rather the Congolese Kinyarwanda speakers. This is a big lie that a foreign Minister who knows very well that, there is a difference between the two groups and of course these rebels who were caught are not too young not to know who they are.
Has the international community failed the people of DR Congo? What should be done to alleviate the crisis?
It’s tragic that the Congolese people continue to suffer and die at the hands of the well known murderer, indeed, some people believe that President Kagame is a serial Killer. A serial killer is a person who enjoys killing fellow human beings. A serial killer behaves like a normal person and the community in which he lives will hardly know that he is suffering from the killing syndrome.
Unfortunately the US and her allies are not doing enough to stop Rwanda from supporting Gen. Ntaganda and his M23 rebels from committing atrocities on innocent Congolese but most importantly from recruiting children into the rebels. Diplomats say the US has sought a delay in publication of the UN report which implicates Rwanda in the Congo conflict to give Rwanda a chance to respond, this is not only a failure by the international community to help the Congolese people but also accomplice in the crimes committed by rebels and their backers(Rwanda Government). No surprise that the world is standing by on the death and calamity of what is currently happening in the Congo, the international community is more interested in Oil and minerals and selling of arms. It could be therefore be submitted that, the presence of the Ugandan Foreign Minister and his delegation is more than what our eyes can see, but the question will remain, will the visit stop the Congolese from suffering or stop Kagame from supporting the rebels? The human race should therefore stand up with one voice and behave like human beings even though human beings are really evil.

this story is not well balanced! the writer does not build specific proofs of whether after the function the mission went that way. please umurungi clarify your points or , otherwise, it is just a nonsense!!!
@Kamujyi, I do not see anything that is not balanced here. look where were these familly all these years. Had they have forgotten about their loved one? Instead what they did was unbalanced because we know many missionaries Rwandans and Internationals who have been killed and no body is allowed to remember them publically! As you will know in Kabgayi in Rwanda many missionaries were killed and as the church says the Bishop must be buried in his church. People are still waiting for this to happen for those killed in Kagbayi by Kagame’s order! So tell us what you think brought this higher delegation to Rwanda. Do you really think within one month Kagame goes to Uganda then his wife then Museveni’s wife then this delegation? Not talking from the beginning of the year with Kagame and familly to Uganda then the wife!!! Do you know how much many they spend on this traveling of everyday?
@ Muhizi, your comments show that you don’t even follow the news in Rwanda, the delegations had different agenda and it is so unfortunate for you to always look things in a negative perspective!! ow can a Ugandan First lady join other women in Rwanda for prayers and still you bring those negative analysis??, do you have any fact of things happened after the principle agenda, on which you can build your arguments, or you are just speculating!! this is why, i notice lack of professionalism in your publications, when you only see what you want to see, even if it is wrong. you should sort out facts from fiction, if this blog is meant to be productive in the news sharing, otherwise you are out of track….
Kamuji, you seem to be right, these journalists
Feed us junk information by mixing fiction and facts.
I know murungi works hard to look for stories but
My dear sometimes you think about the
Knowledgable people who read yo articles. Please

To your professionalism.
