When Iddi Amin Dada the president of Uganda from 1971-1979 nominated Princess Elizabeth Christobel Edith Bagaaya Akiiki of Toro as Foreign Minister from February 1974- November 1974 people thought that she will change the attitude of  Idi Amin who was not only ruthless but also an ignorant leader. A talented actress, top black model, lawyer, government Minister, UN Representative, Ambassador and rebel collaborator defended the government of Idd Amin until herself was a victim of  what she was defending.

Like Princess Elizabeth Bagaya, Louise Mushikiwabo is now a hostage of the system, it is now very difficult for her to get out of the talons of the Eagle. Whereas it is true that Rwanda might be creating a buffer Zone for her security, denial after denial creates conspiracy theories on the proper motives of Rwanda invading another Sovereign State. The regime in Kigali has killed her citizens and the same lady has come out defending the killers, arguing that, all the disappearances and murders are just empty talks of the enemies of Rwanda.

The human rights watch has come out with the date and place of the meeting of John Bosco Ntaganda with a Rwandan Military Official, our sister Louise this time chose to keep silent and seized making Radio announcements hoping that the Tsunami will just pass like other Tornadoes.  Does she release the cost of human life her defenses and utterances are costing both Rwanda and Congo? Will she be able one day to stand and defend what she is defending now in any court of law?

When Tariq Aziz the former Deputy Prime Minster of Iraq was defending Sadam Hussein and his government, little did he know that one day he will be alone in a dock answering what the system he was part of  did and of course his role in that system. Is my sister Louise aware of that day?

When the Plane of once a President of Rwanda Juvenal Habyarimana was shot which preceded the unprecedented genocide of the 20th Century, the  Security Council discussed sending a larger peacekeeping force to Rwanda with a broader mandate to protect civilians, the RPF feared that the force might interfere with its goal of military victory. Its leaders may have been particularly concerned that the French might use the force to protect the interim government. Instead of welcoming the move and urging speedy implementation, the then RPF spokesman in Brussels opposed it and asserted that there were no more Tutsi to be saved. On April 30, Gerald Gahima and Claude Dusaidi who at the time were the RPF political bureau attendants reiterated in a slightly less forceful statement which declared:

“The time for U.N. intervention is long past. The genocide is almost completed. Most of the potential victims of the regime have either been killed or have since fled.

The statement continued:

Consequently, the Rwandese Patriotic Front hereby declares that it is categorically opposed to the proposed U.N. intervention force and will not under any circumstances cooperate in its setting up and operation. In view of the forgoing the Rwandese Patriotic Front:

Calls upon the U.N. Security Council not to authorize the deployment of the proposed force as U.N. intervention at this stage can no longer serve any useful purpose as far as stopping the massacres is concerned”

Indeed, apart from being greedy for power, RPF was wrong, even a single life is invaluable, and if you can ask Gerald Gahima now, he will tell you the same thing.

Why Louise is closing her eyes on the innocent people who disappear in both Rwanda and Congo on almost daily basis?

She is very intelligent and a diplomat like Elizabeth Bagaya serving a regime that is ruthless not only for Rwandans but also neighbors. If the list of the innocent people is put out in the light after this regime, what will she say? I have never had a chance to talk to Elizabeth Bagaya on how she blindly served a man who had no respect for the rule of law when she was herself a lawyer.

Dear Louise Mushikiwacu, although you might think that you are innocent because you are not directly committing any murder, your continued defense, is aiding, abetting and assisting crimes against humanity, therefore the case you will answer in future is not commission but omission. It’s high time you got some advice from legal professionals on your role in all this mess in Rwandan and Congo.
