AK47 DEATH: Investigation Takes New Twist
As it is always the case, some Ugandans seem to have forgotten about the mysterious death of the young dancehall artist, Emmanuel Mayanja alias AK47 who was allegedly murdered in cold blood at the Kansanga based Dejavu bar and lounge, located in Makindye Division, a Kampala City suburb.
According to impeccable sources, Police are working around the clock to verify the fresh information that shows, there is a Ugandan man who is currently living in one of the Scandinavian countries who is highly suspected to have hired mercenaries that bumped off AK47 using a ‘Mafia ring’ over a woman.
When Police summoned her at Kabalagala to give her version of the story, the widow to the deceased, Maggie Kiweesi allegedly spilled a lot of evidence that included a message from one of her phones which had been sent to her from a strange man identified as Sam Ssentongo.
Police sources added that, the message was asking Maggie to warn her hubby (AK47) to back-off his Ugandan-based girl friend identified as Vivian Bahati.
“The man first called me several times, telling me about the same thing, claiming that my husband should spare his girlfriend but the fact is that, I don’t know him physically and even the girl she was talking about wasn’t known to me as well,” Maggie was quoted narrating to Police detectives recently.
Besides the message, Maggie has also availed Police with an audio of some of the conversations she had ever had with Ssentongo sometime back when he was threatening to teach her husband a lesson if he dared not to leave his girlfriend (Vivian Bahati) alone.
Shockingly, the said Sentongo allegedly visited Uganda to check on his fiancée Vivian and also to prove whether it was really true that artist AK47 was secretly hobnobbing with her.
Two weeks later, he allegedly fled the country while very annoyed after his spies had fed him with cream evidence that pinned the artist of shafting his girl moreover inside the new car (Bito – Carros Volkswagen ) which he had just bought for Vivian.
However, when contacted on phone, the police spokes person Fred Enanga told Red pepper that, as Police, they had not received the said evidence but firmly said, they are still hunting for the cleaner who was at the urinal by the time AK47 died.
“No, am not aware about that new evidence but what I can assure you is that, most of our attention is being paid on the man (Cleaner) who witnessed the death of the deceased but later went into missing because we think he is the only one that can give us the clear clue of what exactly happened on that fateful day,” Enanga explained.
