It’s now 21 years since President Habyarimana was assassinated while returning from the Arusha peace talks in Tanzania that many believed would usher in a new era of peace and prosperity. To this very day, his death remains a mystery, although many conspiracy theories of his death lead to two versions, one is the possibility of his own officials who were not happy with him because of signing the Arusha peace accord. Another version is the possibility of RPF who wanted absolute power regardless of collateral damage of death of people and consequently genocide.

If it’s true that Habyarimana was killed because he wanted peace and his officials who never wanted peace, then this makes him a hero that should be considered for a medal by the office of the former Prime Minister Damien Habamuremyi. Indeed, we should look for his remains and be brought in the Remera Cemetery were all the Rwandan heroes were laid to rest.

Will RPF love this? Absolutely not, because the RPF would like to see a devil Habyarimana not the father of the nation as many Rwandans used to sing him on the streets, schools and other clubs. (Animation). President Kagame will be envious as for the last 21 years after genocide he has reclaimed the Habyarimana title and wants to change the constitution so that he can keep serving Rwandans with the vision of 2020. According to some RPF officails and other affiliated parties none other than Kagame could bring sanity and development. We know who brought the idea of Umuganda wokubaka uRwanda, in fact RPF was very bitter on Umuganda and they argued that this is slavery since Rwandans were paying taxes.

According to Julien Kavaruganda 35 the sonof the former Constitutional Court Joseph Kavaruganda , President Habyarimana  betrayed some politicians who were later murdered in genocide. While I will not use the word betraying, I will prefer the word disagreed with those politicians who were against his political ideology. However, these politicians were not assassinated when he was still alive, how did he then kill them in death? This young man Julien might be defending the legacy of his father and trying to please RPF for his own survival.  As he says that he is now 35, this means that during genocide he was merely 14, how politically was active to know how President Habyarimana betrayed some politicians including his father.

In fact President Hbyarimana should be credited for his tolerance  and being courageous to sign the peace accord,  if Joseph Kavaruganda was still alive today would be either be in 1930 or dead as well.  Does Julien know where Seth Sendashonga is? What about Col. Lizinde? Col. Alex Kanyarengwe the former RPF Chairman? Just to mention few, for his information some politicians were murdered by RPF in order to tarnish the good name of government of Habyarimana, for example the murder of Felicien Gatabazi of PSD and others

The late Uwiringiyimana Agathe would not have lived had she worked with RPF today, she was a lady of principles who never minced words when it comes to the defense of democracy and human rights, but all those who stand up for these principles are killed or incarcerated by RPF. Jean Mutashya a Supreme Court judge who is also defending his survival said that Habyarimana regarded Kavaruganda as a sympathizer of RPF

Jean Mutashya na n’ubu ugikora mu Rukiko rw’Ikirenga. Yagize ati: “Habyarimana n’abambari be bavuze ko Kavaruganda ari icyitso cy’umwanzi (FPR). Bahise bamwihinduka ndetse n’abandi twari dusigaye mu Rukiko rw’Ikirenga”.

Could this Law Lord tell us why Habyarimana never killed him or sack him with all those suspected to work with RPF? Can any Judge in Rwanda under Kagame work independently as President Habyarimana tolerated all the institutions to work without interference? The Rwanda judiciary is now under the remote control of Village Urugwiro or DMI, they will use a phone call to lock or unlock whoever RPF suspects of having independent political mind.

Since the commemoration of genocide this month on the 7th April, we have received reports of many people who are locked up and charged with genocide ideology, this is the tool Kagame uses to silence any Rwandan who disagrees with the RPF regardless of his ethnic Background. How could a man like Deo Mushayid whose family was almost wiped be rotting in prison on genocidal ideology? Or Dr Runyinya the former Habyarimana advisor who has been dragged to courts on genocide charges, despite the fact that genocide happened when he was in Tanzania.

If President Habyarimana could rise from the dead, he could be laughing to the RPF and some people who used to accuse him of being a dictator, in fact if you could read in the hearts of the dead and the living, people like Seth Sendanshonga, Uwilingiyimana Agathe or Mr. Faustin Twagiramungu, all would tell you that Habyarimana was a saint and Kagame is a devil.
