There is an extensive and disturbing history of politically motivated killings, in Rwanda. The RPF regime under Kagame has a shocking and sometimes brutally effective record of inhumane laws, harassment, imprisonment, torture and other oppression to terrorize, silence or otherwise neutralize opposition.

The list of those who has been assassinated is long, and they come from a wide political spectrum and all sectors of the Rwandan community. In fact RPF is the only Rwandan government that is not discriminatory when it comes to political assaisnations. Under specific focus here is the RPF’s extra-parliamentary and permanent disposal of political opponents.

As political events unfolds under RPF rule, so too does the extremes of the state’s response. The RPF government is so organized that they have held or are holding courses for killers in several highly secret assassin training camps across the country. Organizations like DMI and NSS reports only to a select group of senior defence, police and political leaders, and have access to vast and secretly budgeted funding to plot and carry out their bizarre projects.

As the RPF is scared of the Resistance to their rule from within and overseas, the tactics of eliminating their political opponents or just those suspected or potential contenders are growing tremendously in different forms and substance. Since 1995 there have been effective politcal assassinations within the country and beyond its borders.

As I have mentioned above the RPF under Kagame regime have created brutal operations which are regular and not confined within its borders. RPF killing  agents and assassins travels to South Africa, Botswana , Kenya Mozambique and almost the whole of Africa and beyond for targeted assassinations . On Kagame orders or instructions these agents of death have travelled in all the states suspected of sheltering Rwanda dissents, as well as reaching across the world to kill or maim their opponents with a variety of ghastly methods. These range from car ( Col. Adam Waswa , Gen. Dan Gafizi, now Rwigara Assinapol )  shooting ( Asiel Kabera, Maj. Alex Ruzindana,  Cpt. Frank Tega or just strangulation like Col. Patrick Karegeya)  and other brutal murders like  Maj. Birasa who was ambushed and the RPF  fabricated a story that he was ambushed by  the infiltrators( Abacengezi).

Unfortunately  in all  these RPF planed murders they just call them  normal criminality  and the government  pretends that it will investigate these crimes, they end up dying the  natural cause , but Rwandans should know that these murders are either  to create division and mask the deathly work
of  RPF killing agents or intimidate the would be  political contenders. Indeed, the death of Rwigara Assinapol has been overdue,while he survived the Habyarimana regime and the deadly period during the RPF initial invasion when many people who were suspected to be RPF sympathizers were arrested or killed, he could not survive the Kagame  regime  that he helped to nurture and  nurse.

Rwigara Assinapol is one of the old business tycoons in Rwanda, like Kayombya Robert, Kabuga Felicien, Kajeguhakwa Valence, Majyambere Silas etc.  The Habyarimana government is credited for having brought peace and although some divisions did exist, Kagame’s bad and brutal policies have surpassed all the post-colonial governments combined together. Kagame does not care for human life when it comes to his murder policies. For example, when he wanted to kill the Rwandan Bishops in Gakurazo  Gitarama  in 1994, these Bishops were  with other people in the  house and a toddler , but Kagame ordered their executions using his agents of death, Gen. Gumusiriza, Gen. Kabandana and others.

The Kibeho massacre in which thousands of hundreds were brutally butchered by Gen Ibingira on the orders of president Kagame was officially recorded and reported by the UN and other international human rights organizations to 3000. People were killed or burnt to death, Kagame was never apologetic or remorseful for all these massacres and his killing hand has never stopped.

Mr. Rwigara Assinapol despite his political low profile he was one of the people who clandestinely supported the RPF with hard Cash and other materials during the struggle. But Kagame does not in any way reward those who helped him to capture power. He instead hunts them and their families, the list of those who supported or were on the front line who have disappeared in political oblivion, is endless but our readers deserve to know some of the RPF founders whose families cannot even pay fees for their children.

The family and relatives of Fred Rwigyema the founding father of RPF/RPA and now RDF, is not known to even many RPF cadres of this generation.  The family of Maj. Chris Bunyenyezi,  Maj. Dr. Peter Bayingana,  Col. Adam Waswa, Col. Stephen Ndugute,  Col. William Bagire,  Col. Theoneste Lizinde, Col. Stanislas Biseruka, Muvunanyambo,  Bitamazire, Vedaste Kayitare(Intare Batinya) just to mention a few . Where are the families of these fallen comrades whose families cannot even afford the basics or pay the loans which were left by their parents?

We all owe a lot to our Heroes; it’s only by uniting against this murderous regime of president Kagame that the souls of the above people will rest in peace.  We should desist judging our brothers by the region or the look they have, I have a dream that all Rwandans will and have already identified their common enemy, the death of Rwigara Assinapol and others we have witnessed before should inspire all over us and strengthen our resolve to resist Kagame and his killing agents and build a country that have opportunities for all Rwandans.
