Kisoro Police are hunting for a Rwandan sex worker accused of stabbing her client to death for alleged failure to pay UGX 8000.

Police have identified the deceased as Ndayiramya, a resident of Muroro Sub County in Kisoro district and declined to release the identity of the suspect.

According to Police, the suspect stabbed Ndayiramya to death at Mulayini, Karumena village in Kisoro town council in the wee hours of Friday morning.

Preliminary police investigations show that, Ndayiramya left home for work in Masaka but decided to spend a night in Kisoro town council where he picked up a sex worker.

He however, reportedly only paid UGX 5000 instead of the UGX 8000 they had agreed with the sex worker. As a result, the sex worker stabbed him in the chest before chopping off his penis and castrating him.

Ndayiramya died as arrangements were being made to rush him to Mutolere hospital for treatment.

Augustine Mbonigaba, the LC I chairperson Karumena village says residents moved in to save the situation but it was too late.

He explains that his area is home to several sex workers who often clash with their clients. Bosco Otim, the Kisoro District Police Commander says they are hunting for the sexual worker to answer for murder.
