Human rights warns Met Police and Kagame gangs
Open Letter to the London Metropolitan Police against the Kagame Gangs.
Dear Sir/Madam,
We, the undersigned, have learnt that President Kagame is planning rival protests on 20/10/2014 using his spy devoted network with intention to disrupt our peacefully demonstrations or hurt those participating in the demonstrations against him.
That is why we are gravely concerned about the damage that will be caused by Kagame –planned rival protests. Indeed we are writing to you to ask you to be aware as the Kagame’s plans might be violent against those he perceives to be enemies as he always does back home.
As you might be aware President Kagame is not used to these kind of demonstrations back home , neither does he like to see them here in UK. Indeed, we request you to facilitate our peaceful protest and to avoid serious disruption. We point out that we have not been approached about those organising a rival protest and we urge the Police to get in touch to make arrangements to prevent Kagame gangs from disrupting our peaceful protests.
We further warn the Police that an unplanned protest could interfere with the work of the emergency services and put lives in danger and without planned written notification any protest could give rise to criminal liability.
Given the violet background of President Kagame and his intolerance against freedom of assembly back home and the reception of protests he always receives here, we believe that positive action by you and your institution will be widely appreciated and warmly welcomed if the above issues are taken into consideration.
With that in mind, we therefore call on the Metropolitan Police to protect our peaceful protest from Kagame’s gangs, as we witnessed the Gangs of President Joseph Kabila of Congo hitting a protest unconscious.
Yours sincerely,
Noble Marara
