Inyenyeri has learnt from its reliable sources that Maj. Desire Gumira has fled Rwanda because he defied Kagame orders to kill Col. Tom Byagamba. Further revelations from one of the RDF senior officers who requested us to remain anonymous because of his own security told us how Kagame ordered this cowardly act of eliminating his own former life saver with all guards to disguise it as an accident when he left for Atlanta US for what he calls Rwanda Day.

President Kagame through his agents of death had given them three ways of executing Col. Tom’s death.  Firstly  by  using what  many have  known as Dan Munyuza and Gen .Jack Niza’s killing water(TUZI TWA DAN MUNYUZA AND JACK NZIZA) or  staging a confrontation in the detention where TOM is held  then the Kagame killing machine kills  Col. Tom Byabagamba with all the guards  and all those  in the circus then they declare that Tom was trying to escape .

It is also likely that Kagame had ordered the possibility burning of the place where Col. Tom Byabagamba is detained in the way he has staged all the recent fires we have witnessed in Rwanda and some prisons. In the Rwanda of Kagame everything is possible; the killing of what he calls his enemies is if but not how and when.

It is a sign of bravery and heroism Maj Desire  Gumira has shown by defying the orders of President Kagame  and this should send a strong signal t other RPF officers to defy  these irresponsible and illegal orders of killing innocent  people and of course their comrades. As we are going to the press, we have information that Maj .Desire Mugira has fled to the neighboring country, we request that neighboring country to respect the human rights of refuges and those seeking protection especially from the killing hand of president Kagame.

We all witnessed illegal and violations of international humanitarian law on how  Lt. Joel Mutabazi was kidnapped from Uganda irrespective of the fact that he had already sought and granted  protection from the Ugandan government and was under the care of the Unite d Nations  High Commission for Refugees.  As I have said above, this does not violate the international humanitarian law but it also defies common sense of protecting a person of the military serving officer who has fled his own country for just refusing to execute orders of illegal killing.

Kagame has run out of ideas and run out of policies to engage with his political opponents or those perceived to threaten his own throne. The killing tradition that he used to eliminate his adversaries is now turned  against those many perceived  to be his own until this day when people like Aloyisa Inyumba,  Col. Patrick Karegeya,  the attempted murder of Gen. Kayumba,  just to mention a few were targeted. It is not clear whether this weapon will be effective to silence what people see as the end game of Kagame or will ultimately infuriate those remaining and undecided RDF Officers to say that enough is enough.

Col. Tom Byabagamba is the former commander of the Kagame Presidential Protection force who was recently arrested for being a brother to Dr. David Himbara and a brother in law to Gen. Frank Rusagara whom Kagame accuses of spreading harmful propaganda against his government.  Although Col. Tom was accused of obtaining and keeping illegal fire arms and engaging into actions that would threaten the security of the country.
