His Excellency Dr, Gen, Chairman of RPF, Commander in Chief, Strong man of Africa, entrepreneur President Paul Kagame has finally received a PhD for international relations from Turkey. But the question still is did he get any better? Dr PK did not recover from his ignorance neither his heartless behaviours which includes shading blood of his brothers and sisters. We have been scratching our heads at the National University of Rwanda (NUR) how our mad head of state does not make sense – PhD and all even though he had never set a foot in a university lecture room, apart from the correspondence course he attended on-line, thanks for the assistance from Rutaisire the then vice Governor of BNR, who stayed beside him until he was declared with a pass.

He now says he is delighted that Dr Jim Kim has been nominated by US President Barack Obama to head the World Bank.

But the African continent, led by Nigeria, South Africa, Cote d’Ivoire and Angola, has been rallying behind Nigeria’s Finance Minister and former World Bank executive, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, for the post. Granted that the position is traditionally taken by a U.S. nominated candidate, but where is our butcher’s moral support and solidarity with Africa he often purports to “lead” by example?

Will our dictator please make up his mind?

Dr Kagame, PhD (Turkey) recently blasted Africa for failing to do things for itself, in reaction to the Chinese-built African Union headquarters in Ethiopia. Now he jumps the African ship to support America’s candidate.

Interestingly enough, Dr Kagame, PhD (Turkey) recently abused America’s top diplomatic, Susan Rice, after she showered him with achievements since genocide. But like a friend, Susan Rice pointed out political repression in our country, which sent our dictator into overdrive with hate and vermin. Is this U-Turn on Africa a belated and clumsy attempt at appeasing America? How cynical our butcher is!

AD, but most of us at NUR are shocked at how un-strategic our butcher is with regards to Africa’s largest and influential nations of Nigeria and South Africa. President Jonathan Goodluck visited Rwanda recently – so did Nigerian investors. Goodluck’s visit boosted our isolated dictator a great deal. Now Kagame rejects Goodluck’s nominee. Is this how Kagame returns a favour to an African brother?

Most surprisingly though is the case of South Africa. This is a country that is at present trying Dr Kagame, PhD (Turkey) in the court of law for attempted assassination in 2010 of an exiled General Kayumba Nyamwasa. Would our butcher not wish to be on good terms with the South Africans? Or perhaps the dictator has failed and given up seeking political solution to the case since he sent Uganda’s Kaguta Museveni to Pretoria to achieve such an impossible mission?

AD, whatever the case, our dictator is a two-faced opportunist that no longer distinguishes left from right, east from west and north from south. He is a total mess. That is our consensus here at NUR. The question is: who will pick up the pieces when Dr Kagame, PhD (Turkey) exits the scene as his repression has made impossible for potential leaders to emerge.
